Job Title: Client Director, Drugstore
Summary
The Client Director will be responsible for building, growing, and accelerating an independent book of small and mid-tier customer business across both new and existing accounts. This role serves as a key point of contact for clients, selling a suite of digital and in-store capabilities designed to drive measurable shopper engagement and deliver growth for brands and retailers.
As part of a multi-functional team, the Client Director will focus on strengthening strategic partnerships, driving innovation in client programs, and creating data-driven solutions that align with customer goals. This is a high-visibility role that provides exposure to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to play a major part in shaping the continued growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage current accounts to ensure client satisfaction while expanding relationships to close profitable new business.
Drive revenue growth by generating leads, securing meetings, and identifying opportunities where omni-channel solutions meet customer business objectives.
Create and deliver compelling, insight-based campaigns and proposals using available tools, resources, and data.
Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights, Operations, Finance, and Leadership) to build solutions and elevate client deliverables.
Maintain a disciplined forecasting cadence with regular reporting on pipeline activity, account status, and closed sales.
Leverage category and shopper data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, Numerator) to build persuasive selling stories and recommendations tailored to client needs.
Qualifications
2–3+ years of experience in the consumer packaged goods, retail, or advertising/marketing services industries.
Strong understanding of CPG and retail industry dynamics.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and profit goals in a B2B environment.
Tenacious and curious with a fearless approach to pursuing new business opportunities.
Highly motivated, accountable, and organized with a strong follow-through.
Skilled negotiator with the ability to develop win-win solutions for both clients and the company.
Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into actionable client strategies.
Excellent communication and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders.
